Lady Blackbird, shown here after winning Grand Champion Heifer (Junior), at KY Beef Expo, February 2004. This fine heifer is owned by Genie Akin, Chan and Tonya Phillips of Phillips Cattle Co., and Randy and Megan Favorite of Tennessee.

The horses and the ponies are full time employees here. They are used for sorting bulls and weaning calves twice a year. Even the children enjoy "round up time" at Curtiswood.
